Rent In Advance

The estate agent couldn't remember when he'd rented an apartment to a more desirable tenant.

'Well,' he said, 'that's that. I wish you much happiness in your new flat, and here are the two keys that come with it.'

She accepted the keys and favoured him with a dazzling smile.

'And here is a month's rent in advance, honey.' And she handed him back one of the keys.
