Ignored

Whenever they thought the manager was engaged, the four bank clerks started playing cards. One day he caught them at it. They didn't notice that he was watching and he decided to teach them a lesson. He rang the fire alarm four times, but the clerks ignored the bell and carried on playing. Two minutes later, the barman from the pub next door walked in with four pints of beer.
