Enthusiastic Salesman

A securities salesman telephoned the boss of a large company and gave him a very enthusiastic account of a new business equipment stock which he claimed was a sure thing and could be guaranteed to triple in less than twelve months.

'I happen to be the managing director of the company you're talking about,' said the boss. 'I'm glad you think so highly of us!'

'Well, what a coincidence!' exclaimed the salesman. 'Tell me frankly, sir - is the company any good?'
